The first thing to do is not panic but act quickly. Go to your trusted nearby vet straight away. Remember, the pets' welfare should be your number one priority. Try to reach the owner as soon as you can they might refer you to a different vet. Once informed, keep them updated with progress updates. Once treatment has been completed, you must ask the vet for an invoice detailing the work, the name of the pet and the date. This should then be sent to us no later than seven days after the accident detailing precisely what happened. Remember to give us your bank details so that we can issue you with a full refund, if applicable.
